Though I was surprised by the lack of Tori in chapter 1, I like how she was here. Very in-character (all of them, really). I think you could go more into how Jade was standing or more cues that made Tori suspicious, but very well done overall.

What makes Jade not fight harder because I really think she would?

I'm in no way saying anything bad but I think you should think about your characters as your write and try to think how they would act in the situation they're in. Just some advice.
