This is especially sad because it's so realistic. Clark never showed any real interest in journalism yet he will end up with the job that Chloe has always wanted. The story ended on a rather bitter note which I think was necessary, Chloe has lost not only her dream job but also the guy she has liked for years; to have her feel anything other then bitter would be ridiculous. There are several mistakes throughout so you might want to go back and clean it up a bit but if you don’t it will still be a wonderful story.

Again...how sad! Great perspective! You really sem to understand Chloe! The quote from SV "Raven hair and the initials L.L." comes to mind. I love that you added Lex Luthor as the initials L.L. also. That was very creative! I never even thought of that!

One word. WOW! Great story. That's probably how I would have envisioned Chloe's eventual destiny: working in journalism, but in the one town she swore she's never return to.

Without Clark, the Daily Planet job would seem like going through the motions ...

I have to say that this is a really good fic. It's hard to watch Chloe dream of a life at the planet knowing that she can never have her dream, in the same way we know she'll never have Clark. Sad as it is, this is probably close to the truth. I'm all depressed now, good work on the story.
