Wow. Though you did not utilise much flamboyancies in your writing, I personally think that was beautifully written. I seldom take time to write reviews but I just want to let you know that I was moved by the sincerity of your reasoning - so simple, so logical, so honest, so true - that I found myself agreeing to its credibility. And for that, I simply could not refuse you a review.
If you choose to write a continuation, then I wish u good luck, hoping to see you break into the 'seldomly ventured ground' of fanfic writing. But even if you don't, I wish you good luck anyway for all your future works. I am sure that I will be more proactive in cranning my neck out for them. ^__^

A lot of fics have been done about Misao leaving Aoshi and the rest of the Oniwabanshuu, but it’s with your reason that I agree most. (Or maybe they’re essentially the same reasons, but you just had a better way of saying it). I particularly like the part where you wrote, “Better to love forever as a child than to have that cherished feeling change as a woman.” I felt that that was a good reason for her to leave him behind, especially when things have changed. What DID trigger the change, though? Was it Aoshi himself? That would have been nice to know. This already works as a one-shot, but if you still want to continue it, then I hope you’ll break new grounds (as I said, there are already a lot of fics done on this topic). Good luck!
