I loved this. When I read the description, I had in my head that it was going to be a reunion story after everything was all well and good again, but this...this was just so much more than that.

Booth's need to keep busy and his obvious frustration broke my heart, as well as his little tantrum with the laptop and don't even get me started on his mantra at the end. They are the good guys and the good guys win. Gah, just amazing!

And the thing I loved the most is their understanding between each other here. She's run away and he's got a temper, but he's not mad at her, he knows that she's doing it to protect their family.

I adore this, (as I told you after reading the scraps you threw my pathetically needy self) but I truly do so it stands repeating. I particularly like the Island of Misfit Toys line, because it is one of my favorites on the show. Plus, I always clap and get giddy when I realize that someone as ridiculously talented as you is actually my friend. :D
