Again, I like how Kaede explains Sesshomaru's actions, in terms of his courtship and battle.

Whoa Sesshomaru was fierce towards that boy but I think the boy got off easy!

Sesshomaru does not want to part with Rin even for a few minutes - kind of reminds me of Inuyasha with Kagome in the anime, but with Sesshomaru's own distinct ways of doing things :)

I always notice Sesshomaru having to fend off his father's old enemies even in the anime...it's like they're coming after him because of his father!

I like that Kaede explains Sesshomaru's mind to the readers sometimes, through Kagome questioning her. Haha I also like Inuyasha's insinuations about Rin and Sesshomaru!

This was a sweet chapter :) Reading a story about the courtship methods is unique and engaging - I liked it! Sesshomaru is definitely portrayed in an authoritative, dominant manner - I like the subtle change from the anime and it makes sense now that he is acting as a suitor would.
