Well, that was a nice little one-shot. I do like the focus on Alice as opposed to Wake himself; after all, we get enough of his demons-both literal and figurative-in the games.

The writing was good, though in some spots I felt like you could have done some trimming. Nothing too dramatic, though. As for characterization, the dialogue during the brief argument was fantastic and very believable-it even got a little chuckle out of me, as Wake's outbursts are so apt to do. The calmer lines felt a little more stale, but that's me nitpicking for the sake of it.

Overall, good job, and keep at it.
