I just found this story and I have to admit. it's pretty good! A little short but that's not really a problem as long as you continue the good work! ;)

"the island was big." NO just...NO

"the gigantic island was full of plant life and rocky mountains" better.
use more lengthy words in sentences it biggers the page length and takes readers into thinking everything is more complicated and more interesting ;)

Yay! An update! While I do enjoy the quick updates, I'm sure you've heard the request of having longer chapters more than a few times by now. While I agree, I come with suggestions! Do you have to take them? Heck no, but maybe it'll spark an idea or something. Anyway, I suggest slowing things down just a bit. Also, you could try taking the time to describe the settings they're in more detail. Painting a mental picture, if you will.

Regardless of the length, I enjoy where this story is and where it could go. I laughed when Laura admitted to picking a random cell. It spoke wonders about her character )

Devil Fruit/Weapon/Attacks: She ate the Wood Wood Fruit (translate the name if you want). It's a logia type fruit that gives her control over wood. She has the first two types of Haki but not the third. She is very adept at using her devil fruit powers, and, just like all other logia users, she can turn into her element (wood) to avoid damage unless the opponent can use Haki. She is admiral class.

Likes: She has very few likes because she a very focused and intense person. She like marines that are LOYAL, brave, and protect the innocent and weak. She loves fish (eating them).

Appearance: She has mid length brown, straight hair that she usually wears down, but puts it in a pony tail when she's fighting. Her skin colors is between pale and tan and has intense black eyes. She wears any clothes that won't impede movement when fighting and wears the admiral jacket when not in a fight. She is 5'8", and her body type is normal.

History: She comes from an island in the second half of the grand line. The Island's people were all killed by (Insert pirate here). The island was a big fishing island and was the biggest exporter of fish in the grandline. Kira went out fishing when (Insert pirate here) attacked and killed everyone on the island, including all of her family and friends. She does not talk about it.

Dislikes: PIRATES, she hates them more then anything in the world. She believes all pirates are evil and should be killed. She even hates the Shikibuaki, and refuses to be in their presence. She also hate anybody who supports pirates, whether there pirates, or not. She even dislikes Marines that are friends with any pirates or are any friendly grounds with any pirates. She dislikes any meat that is not fish.

Personality: She is a very serious and intense person. She does not talk much, but when she does it's something important. Her tramatizing past with pirates has caused her to be cold and distant to any person who tries to get close to her. It also led to her deep hatred of pirates. She is always very serious, even when fighting. Her fellow Marines see her as serious, cool, collected, and intense towards pirates.

Dream: To exterminate all pirates and bring an end to the pirate age.

Other: Fishing is the only hobby she has outside of training and fighting pirates.

Cool, nice chapter. A bit short, but that's alright. Natsu sounds really cool, I can't wait to see more of him and Laura. And I can't wait to see who made it into Laura's crew. Well good luck with the next chapter. I hope it's a longer chapter.
