That so did NOT suck on so many levels! And no, that wasn't sarcasm - and neither was that! Oh, for gods sake! Ok, I'll start again, shall I? Brilliant fic, mate! I liked how you made Spike all insightful (mmmmm) and still managed to keep him in character! Plus, all the stuff he said was true, and this would've been a better review but I'm really really tired, and now I'm gonna go and possibly email you coz you sound interesting, and oh my god, why haven't I stopped typing yet? *gasps for breath* So yeah, good!

I enjoyed your exploration of a neglected BTVS relationship. They really are more alike than Xander would like to admit. The Spike dialogue is well done. I would think that he is the most difficult to write for, being so distinctive. You have a good grasp of what he sounds like. I would have liked to have heard a little more of what led to this conversation; a little slower build-up to Spike's monologues about love and the difference between humans and vampires. Just a thought. Very well done, and I loved the punch line and how you got us there. Thanks for a good read.

I love interactions between Spike and Xander, and my opinion about them is quite ironic actually. I think they have potential to either become buddies or kill each other anytime soon, through I'd really prefer the first one. I do see potential. Well, sorta. Taking out the part where Xander hates vampires with all his might. Anyway... Can't the writers see that potential too? Grr!
