I just finished reading Detective Conan chapter 833. The last page really did remind me of your story. Immediately after I read the page Blood and Snow sprang into my mind! "Vampires..." So cool! You should really take a look if you already haven't done that. And I'm really looking forward to your updates. Thanks again for this story!

While I only got into the Detective Conan fandom a couple of days ago, I have already read quite a few really good stories. Of them, I'd have to say that this is one of my favorites (and probably my favorite multi-chapter one). I typically am not a huge fan of fanfics that deviate greatly in terms of content from the original source material that they are based on, but seeing as I find your stories to be quite the exception to this I had no doubts as I started reading this (even though I am especially iffy when it comes to anything concerning vampires).

I found the first chapter not really appealing, honestly, but I did not let that turn me away from continuing on, and I am certainly glad that I didn't stop there. This story is a wonderful read, with knack-on character depictions and a lovely mix of fast-paced and slower parts with the perfect amount of humor. You don't assault the reader with a load of sappy, poorly-written emotional scenes, but you still portray how the characters are responding to the situations that they find themselves in in such a manner that is believable and enjoyable to read.

Furthermore, the lore that you have developed for this story is utterly delightful. You have put a marvelous twist on vampires while staying fairly true to their origins. While unique, they're also recognizable to the reader as actual vampires. The way you present this information is one that eases us into the knowledge, rather than chunks of rote exposition.

I like how you're playing your cards close to you also at this point in time. So far you've given us tasty little hints that the reader can latch onto and leaves us craving to learn what they lead to (like who the person that reported Heiji as a suspected vampire is, something learned from just one line), but keeping things still vague at the current time.

Your action scenes are interesting to read also, keeping the reader on edge.

Also, your occasional fourth-wall sledgehammers are hilarious, like the one in this chapter: ". . . Like you're stuck in some kind of long running manga where time can't flow properly for the sake of the plot." Obviously it's poking fun at the actual Detective Conan manga, and it's pure gold in its comedic value.

I eagerly anticipate future chapters of this story. Oh, and sorry for the ridiculously long review; I'm sure you have better things to do than read my fangirl raving of your story. :P

This truly is a fantastic story, it's such a pity there have been people harrassing you about updating. I really enjoy your writing style and I hope you continue to write (even if not this story or this genre). I do look forward to your updates of this one, however, if you choose to stop this one because of the stupidity on this site, I understand your choice.

Oh! OH! It looks like Heiji's secret is gonna be exposed soon! Yessssss! Ok, I'll admit it. I got REALLY excited when I saw this had been updated. It's a great story(though I'm sorry people harassed you about it. Despite popular belief, writers DO have lives). I can't wait for 14! Part of me wonders if Conan's identity is ever going to be exposed in this story, even if it isn't necessary.

You know, I have imagined several scenes that made me burst out laughing while reading this. One of them included Conan and Heiji running in front of Ran(in the middle of a crazy vampire attack) while Conan was screaming for Heiji to, "give me the frickin' holy water!" I don't know why, but imagining all that, and their expressions, made me burst out laughing. It's the mental images your stories give me that make me laugh so much. *grin*

I really can't wait to see what happens! Crap, someone slap me before I go into fangirl-mode... kidding, of course. Anyway, this chapter has gotten me REALLY excited. I hope theres another update soon!

He! He! Don't worry man... When I say please update soon, I usually mean that I love your story! The only people who I try to annoy are the guys who abandon their stories! Still, I gotta say, ur imagination is awesome!

I'm sorry to hear that some rabid readers went to harass you on your other fics and don't even comment on them. But I also got to say, Kudos to you. For all that hasn't make your writing quality decline at all, much better than some publishing authors.

As the vampire hunter arc had ended and this new arc started, this still reads as detailed like a three-parter case in the series, like it is actually going to be directing canon around. No hurries, keep up the quality of your writing like always.

As strange as the vampires and all the supernatural is connected with Detective Conan, I find that in this story it all makes sense somehow. Now I'm always eagerly waiting your updates. I'm just hoping "Blood and Snow" doesn't end soon.
