Oh, wow...the scene with the statue isn't too far from now. I love that scene because it basically confirms that Ofelia and the Faun will marry and have a child. (Unless the baby is meant to be her brother? I actually never thought of that until just now.)

Wow. This story is making me look at the movie in a totally different way!

I LOVE this movie. It's my favorite Spanish movie, favorite Guillermo del Torro movie, one of my favorite fantasy movies, and my favorite war-related movie. I actually HATE war, and I hate movies about war, but the civil war provides commentary and symbolism to the story, and it works.

Okay, enough about that. My one problem...I wish that this had been word-for-word from the movie. The conversation the Faun and Ofelia have is pretty much the same, but the words aren't the same...to be honest, it feels a little rushed.

But aside from that, I am looking forward to this! I can't wait for more!
