I bookmarked this story back in june, but never got around to reading it untill the two new chapters hit today. On the minus side, I agree with some other reviewers about what does recall mean, and just how will this forced reunion with Ron and Ginny go. Ron will be Ron, I suppose. What, indeed, does Hermione feel for him. I certainly think she may still feel for him, but a reunion will be messy. Ginny, on the other hand, will probably kill all three of the Trio, and be fairly justified. On the plus side, this has some amazing potential! I prefer longer chapters in order to "get in" to a story before I have to stop and curse about how long I'll have to await the next update. But, aside from the questions that may very well be answered in future chapters, this is some very good stuff. Thank you, and please continue soon!

The starting chapters are a bit confusing, not sure how much is AU in the story. I still don't get why Hermione hid the baby's identity from Ron even when he apologized. Why make them think that the baby is Harry's? May be I have to re-read the story again :) Hopefully things will be clarified soon

A really interesting turn on the story. I wonder exactly how Harry will explain his actions to Ginny. I understand that as Hermione's brother for a lack of a better, that he wanted to help Hermione but I'm sure he could have given her a hint before leaving.

And I'm also wondering for the explanation why they stonewalled the other Weasleys. Ron, I get but why punish the rest of the family?

Hermione doesn't deserve to be forgiven by Ginny or anyone else because she deliberately let Doge and everyone else believe that she was pregnant with Harry's child. She knew that Harry would go along with the lie in order to protect her feelings or whatever. Not that Harry isn't an idiot too but Hermione could have told Ginny right there that she and Harry were never together and the kid wasn't his but instead she pulled out that bs "I can't tell you now..."

Canon clearly tells us that Harry had fallen HARD for Ginny. It wasn't all at once as he knew her for five years. Despite what you may think, it is possible for guys like Harry to fall in love at that age. Even if we wasn't yet "in love" with Ginny, he cared enough not to abandon her and humiliate her in front of a Hall of people like your Harry did to your Ginny.

Great story. I look forward to seeing how it progresses.

I hope that despite Hermione still seeming to pine after Ron (the red-headed Shaun substitute for Ron as an example) that this story stays true to its title and Ron is not forgiven (or at least does something stupid and causes a permanent split with H and Hr) as time and time again he has shown he cannot be trusted or relied upon. Harry and Hermione both wore the Horcrux and both sufferred through worse ordeals than hunger or boredom and as such Ron's behaviour cannot be excused. Combined with the Twiwizard tournament and you come to the conclusion Ron can not be relied upon when times gets tough or when times are relatively peaceful due to his own insecurities. Furthermore Hermione states she was "just rying to comfort him" and this resulted in a pregnancy. This again shows that accomidating Ron only causes problems and uneeded complications for both Harry and Hermione's lives.

I hate stories where everyone is unwilling to see the faults in Ron or excuse them like his family seems to be doing and hope this story does not run down this path. For example despite Bill's cottage being where Ron ran to after abandoning Harry and Hermione he asks what happended between Ron and him to Harry as if Ron's showing of disloyalty is not enough, or in other words it Ron's disloyalty is explained away. This is again referenced by Ginny stating that H and Hr leaving "broke Ron's heart" ignoring the pain he put them through

Futhermore what does "recalled to active duty" mean. Harry was never employed by the ministry so how can he be recalled. I also look forward

I also hope this story does not become ridden with forgiveness everywhere especially the Malfoys not having received prison time or Draco being free despite how he almost killed Katie Bell and Slughorn, and played a role in letting murderers and rapists into a school full of children where Dumbledore died, and Bill disfigured. However I doubt you would go with this route as then Harry and Hermione would be concerned about moving Rose to England.

Great to see a double update to your story today! I really like the idea of your story and what you've written so far. It looks like it will be a long and interesting road back for the two couples. Can't wait to see your next chapter.

The story is well written and interesting. However, the premise makes no sense. Harry would not abandoned Ginny for Hermoine no matter the issue. Whatever Ron's faults he should have been told. To make the wold believe that Hermoine and Harry left "together", is something Harry would not have done. Also Hermoine would not leave her support system, Her parents as well as the Weasly's, she took their grandchild away.

I really can't see Harry leaving Ginny like that. She was 'his best source of comfort' and yet you have totally cut her out of the story. I can understand him being angry with Ron, but why would he leave Ginny and make her think he was leaving her for Hermione?

so is harry leaving Ginny or is she coming with them for that time, or is he going to ninja it and see her without anyone else knowing
