Rather impressed... Just finished reading most of the Planetary comics yesterday - and yes, Mulder would be an interested choice for a none-powered Operative :)

(He wouldnt last 5 seconds against any of "The 4" though!)
The Mad Mad Reviewer 3/29/05 . chapter 1
Couple things: The Drummer would never do Field Operations. Infact, he hates field operations. He hated going on them even before Ambrose died.

Planetary can't release any of their findings until the four are dead. As Dowling said, "We are very old, and very powerful." John Stone's even afraid of them, and he has every reason to be. They could wipe out America before lunch. As such, Artemis is not something the X-files would uncover, nor would Plantary just be handing out copies of it unless they wanted somebody dead. Which they don't. Snow doesn't like killing people.

I like your mentioning Sliding Albion. That, however requires dragging the Authority into this mess, but given the ways Planetary and Authority overlap (Jenny Sparks is mentioned a few times so far, and then there's Crossing Worlds storyline "Ruling the World")

1939, and anything else before '45 would more likely be Axel Brass than Snow, and alot of that stuff was more kept secret by their bunch than anybody else.

Other than that, there's a few other problems. Namely, you throw in to much explanatory dialogue, especially when Mulder is talking to Scully. That, and given your present location, Snow and Jakita would be able to explain the existance of the Four. That, and you forgot to offer Mulder the pay: A million dollars a year for the rest of your life, no matter how long you live.

fab, cool and groovy. I really liked Mulder's p.o.v and I've never seen the X-files. Drummer must be so much happier when he's with the Lone Gunmen!

Warren Ellis would be proud. The pace of the story is dead on the pace of the issues I've read (well, no giant ants or demented superheroes in your story...). Who else would Planetary try to recruit? Is Mulder going to try and track them down? Do Planetary know of the info passed on by the Lone Gunman? And did Drums pilfer Scully's underwear draw?
Planetary/X-Files: a match made in the Bleed. _

I agree. Awesome, I truly love well put together crossovers. Especially that part about the Millenium group-wish I could remember the name of that show...

Very good story! Where some writers would write an action-packed piece, this was a superb character driven story. Very good indeed.
Tommy Christmas 7/16/02 . chapter 1
Excellent! You portrayals of all the characters, especailly Mulder, were dead on. Great story!
Jacob M. Bosch 5/12/01 . chapter 1
It did work. And very nicely I might add.
John Dunkelburg 1/16/01 . chapter 1
Hmmm... I think it actually works on it's own merits. I don't know all that much about Planetary, but it sounds like a superheroic Indiana Jones league.

yes, i like the story although i know nothing of Planetary, you should do more.
Pedro Pacheco 4/11/00 . chapter 1
Great job! Im a fan of both the X-Files and Planetary. The recruitment of Mulder is a very curious idea. I read the story in a well written and the characters of both Mulder, Scully and the Planetary guys is dead on. Please write the sequel soon.
