AugustinianFrog 6/19/12 . chapter 12Bravo, bravo, bravo. This is a unique spin off of New Vegas as a whole and as far as endings go, you did it well. You've also managed to keep the story deep and touched on many heavy issues poetically. Whether you did that on purpose or you're an accidental genius, I suppose does not matter. Again, very good. This one deserves to be in an archive. |
AugustinianFrog 6/18/12 . chapter 8The imagery continues to be strong as well as the vivid strokes of unwanted memories of the past. We get an idea of Boone's feelings in snapshots but Rene's remains a little elusive at this point. The atmosphere also contains a bit of suspense as it seems the angel of death seems to be giving them a little too much attention. |
AugustinianFrog 6/13/12 . chapter 4So we have reference to economics in the form of mutated cows, references to religion readily made available by the Bull and the foreboding reminder of impending mortality yet brilliantly presented in story format. Excellent, I like the work so far. The only suggestion I can make is that sometimes I got a little confused in some of the transitions, but nothing too jarring. |
AugustinianFrog 6/13/12 . chapter 1only able to look at the first chapter for now. Good description, superbly written, I didn't spot too many errors. You seem to have a surreal quality to the chapter, which isn't a bad thing. Keep it up. |
