I'm glad you can write, because I'm suffering from a raging case of Micheletto withdrawal and Sean Harris won't be around until next year.

Since you are trying not to veer from the show as presented, I'd love to see you at least hint at Arianna's relevance to the current season that ended. Having to rehash all of season 1 is a bit... anticlimactic, we already know how that ends.

Things to keep in mind: Arianna would have to have a really good reason to know how to read in the 15th century. Servant... female... Same for the cook, functional iliteracy is easier than you might think without iPads everywhere.

Also, while her clothing would be duller and more functional than a noblewoman's she'd still be wearing a lot of clothes, at least an undershirt and a corseted type of dress, those must be some gruesome scars if he can feel them through that much fabric.

Trust yourself as a writer but proofread to avoid repetition... all the questioning of staff in Ch. 2 takes up a lot more trouble to set up than what it pays off.

So I can't wait for the next chapter and to see where you go with this whole thing. Mich is going to be around for a long time, till after Cesare dies, so it just gives you so much room to work with. Especially once he returns to Cesare, can't wait to see what you do with Arianna then considering Rovere is wandering the whole time.

Names? Ooooh, names have always been my favorite things for OCs! I make them ALOT so, yeah, I get how tough it can be. Personally, I've always been partial to the name Renata and it is Italian. But I also suggest going to 20000names, it's a great website with probably millions of names; go to the Italian section for women and it'll give you a lot of names with what they mean, which could be useful for the character as well, personality, weapon, colors, etc.
