Some writers overdo it, I mean I understand that Dimitri's a gentleman but if you think about all the shit he put Rose through in the books he's a bit of an asshat too. Besides, Rose is an independent woman and she doesn't take kindly to being treated like a 'damsel' so I think she would have insisted to pay for herself anyway. |
