| Celeste 2002-07-19 ch 1, | abuseOh my goodness Fala! Where to start? Like I said before, I'm not very good with reviews, but I'm gonna give it my best shot. ^.^ First off, I absolutely loved it. I think you handled the flip from Gateau's POV to Marron's POV extremely well. At parts, when it was Marron's thoughts, I almost felt like I was reading a TNG Novel because the language was used *so* well. I can't remember the last time I saw the word piqued in a fan fic ^.- Kudos to you! Gateau was hilarious. Every time it was his turn I laughed. Someone said before, there are too many good lines to repeat. I really liked the 'stuck pig' description though. *hehe* As for In Character? Bang on Girl. Only times that were iffy was Mum and Bloody, but that is so minor. Everything else was EXTRODINARILY IC. You feel the same way about Marron's personality that I do, only you breathed life into it. As for the style, I loved it. Very nicely done. Most of the time people change POV every chapter, so this was a delightful change. *Applaud* Loved it Fala-chan. Keep up the good work ok! And I tried to write as constructive review as I'm able to. ^.- |

This is very well written, and first person is hard to do, so great job there. ^_^ Marron and Gateau are definitely in character here. Gateau had some great lines; too many to list here, but I did enjoy them. And yes, the overall feel of it is very genuine. It reminded me of a movie that I saw once that had two people telling their sides of the same story, which I thought was one of the strengths of this story. Keep up the good work. ^_^ |
