Okay this is my first review so I actually have no idea what I'm doing here, but let's just start with this: I really freakin' like this story. I think it's one of your best so far, although I haven't read them all yet. Even though I don't fully understand it, because I still require education on the finer points, I think it's really creative and definitely well written. I have to admit I was worried when I read the first line. ("SHE KILLED HIM OFF? WHYY?") Okay I'm gonna stop talking about that now to avoid any spoilers.

I took a creative writing class this year, and one thing we were drilled on was how to make our first lines "attention getting," and making sure we're "showing, not telling." You did this perfectly, because instead of just telling your readers he was dead, you showed it through the headline. I think that's amazing and this story is just great all-around. Good job, and I can't wait to read the next chapter.
