I really loved this. Snape is Snape in his whole parade here, the detention is just something I would envision him to punish Neville with - and then the second part with him returning injured and they closing the tentative peace for the sake of treating his injuries. Nice. Perfect. Thank you!

This story is awesome ... and I really don't use that word often for a story. You did a wonderful job in describing (or rather creating) the characters. I know this is fanfiction and it is most valued to keep everybody in character - but I think you turned Snape and Neville into your own characters by picking them up und plunging them into situations together that let us see them in a different light. If I wasn't so much looking forward to reading an update to this wonderful story soon, I would suggest that you take your ideas and characters and make your own story with them instead of writing fanfiction - you definetly have all it takes to captivate your readers. Good luck with the next chapter!

Good story so far but Lee isn't supposed to be there he graduated at the end of the fifth book.

I hardly ever read Harry Potter fic, but this one has a quite interesting beginning and I like the mysterious relationship between Neville and Snape. I'm curious where you're gonna take us with this story! ;-)

A pleasure to read a story so well and intelligently written. You get Snape's voice so well. What an actor! Who wouldn't believe he's on the Bad Guy side? Except for that bit about cleaning up messes . . . That does sound like something he knows all about.

Aww, poor Snape. He was a wee OOC in the first chapter but he's back and kicking. Neville is a sweetie of course and it's good to see he has a protector now. A nasty, bitter, vindictive protector.

I really enjoy this fic - it certainly has much potential and it is a refereshing view of the events of year 7 at Hogwarts. I hope Madam Pomfrey shall remember Snape's actions.
