i love that Loki is doing the self sacrifing thing in this chapter and that he threw Thor out of the ship because he wanted to stay with Loki

I think it's only fitting, since you've resorted me into a crying mess, that you update this story immediately! I feel horrible for saying this since I love "The Opposite" and "War and Alliances," but screw them at the moment and work to finish this story! It's so good and I cannot get enough of it. But what a chapter! You portrayed Thor's grief so wonderfully, and the reactions of the others' over Loki's death so accurately as well. This was a deliciously long chapter and I am so waiting to know what happens next. I don't know how Loki would have survived (running on the assumption said figure is not a fake/hallucination and Loki really is dead-in which case I shall sob into oblivion) unless he used his doubles, so I'm pretty much dying to read the next chapter. Thanks for the update!

Dear me! I don't know about you, but if I were Thor and found my brother alive again I would breakdown right in the spot. Thor has been stalling some emotion for a while and it would be healthy to have some release of all of that.
