actually, sugar rushes DON'T exist. You get a small ammount of excess energy, to be sure, but it is actually the person mentally psyching themselves up believeing to get a sugar rush, that causes the high. It's the same as when you drink an energy drink, nd you're energetic right away. The drink itself doesn't kick in for a good half an hour, it's your brain that's energetic before that.

Just a tidbit of knowledge.

Wouldn't that be the sucrase, maltase and lactase that's breaking down the sugars?

Nefertiri: They do, I have witnessed my Hikari on one once. The poor people around her could do nothing but watch as she ran bach and forth from ether side of the theater.
Hermione: That's what I get when I eat poptarts on an empty stomach and after a marching competition. I'd have been asleep in seconds had I not eaten that small amount of suger.
Nefertiri: ether way, the fic was interesting. It sent my aibou into a fit of giggles so that means she was pleased.

I noticed that this was like...a year and a half old...but I had to review anyway! made me soo happy..yay shounen ai galore...I really needed some Touya/Yukito fanfiction. Thanks to this, my craving has been satisfied.

sugar hight -does- exist, and I've got LOTS of things to prove it. a nce way to get sugar higt (for me) is eating too much chery (you know, those cherry you,r suppose to put only one one your ice cream? well, take that to 20 and here you go ) and I do hope the sequel is comming.
