tiger002 5/23/13 . chapter 24Another good one, lots of questions and a couple answers. I think having one oe two groups per chapter may work better, makes it so readers dont vget lost with everything going on. |
tiger002 5/23/13 . chapter 23Ah...Sydney is not someone you want to underestimate. But will his plan work as well as he hopes? He also may not know what all his enemy has planned. I like how he's acting like a innocent kid to make them trust him. I'm curious to see what Julius is up to too, what he knows that he's not letting on about. |
tiger002 5/22/13 . chapter 22Okay...you're not telling us anything about this villian, except a little bit about what you're not telling us. Very interesting... But the hints are here. The most obvious in that you decided to hide the gender here. This would mean that if we knew the gender, we would know something, possibly more than we should. It's likely from the element world, and had tried to do what ever it was doing before, and is connected to the Arboris. Wait...the one said "That's what she calls us anyway." So if indeed there is a connection, then this dark figure is female. Or by not saying, it could mean that it's a he, and if you did say then the connection wasn't there, or at least not in the same way. Hm...I'm going with what the Arboris said, it's a she. |
tiger002 5/22/13 . chapter 21It seems like all the characters are going overboard when they're battling, without really meaning to, someone ends up dead. So far it's been their enemies, but will that change? Also, what exactly is the goverment after? How good/evil are they? Are they mearly trying to do their job to protect people from this unknown, or do they want the power for themselves? |
tiger002 5/19/13 . chapter 20Oh...Anomaly, I need to catch up on that story too. And the fact that Rhu is writing a Suite Life fic too also interests me. Moving onto the chapter itself... This was good. I'm wondering just what powers Aaron has. I also liked how you described the jail they were in. And of course Patrick stayed asleep through it all. I'm wondering where Riley and Sydney are though...Rhuben got away when Zack and Cody were attacked, but we haven't heard anything about them recently. |
tiger002 5/19/13 . chapter 19Oh...this is good. I like seeing the guardians here and the battles their caught up in. But things are just getting worse, aren't they? |
tiger002 5/19/13 . chapter 18Oh...interesting. I really should read this more often, I keep forgetting who certain characters are. Still, I like this back and forth between the past and the present, and how the adventures are intertwining. |
owlhero 5/18/13 . chapter 36Wow, the pace picked up fast. Nice job trying to tie all the loose ends from the story together so far. The argument between the difference of blame for Zhane and Mother Nature just shows the widespread opinion between everyone in the group. I can see why Patrick would argue over the matter. The arbrois seem to have the personality of pack animals or hunters. They never attack individually. Ouch be careful, death by a thousand cuts with their vines. Personally I've always loved how you jump from one combat mini-scene with each chracter to the next without any hesitation or break, just barrel right in. Diamond with all those weapons kept me thinking of Rambo or check norris for some odd reason. That three way mental combat with Mother and children should be interesting to read about. Althrough the light stone is a dead giveaway for something later on...like the endgame. Its author's choice but it does seem a little odd to have those set of characters lose their stones right now especially with when you combine those elements with fire and water. But that's not to say its fun to read , just curious. |
Guest 5/8/13 . chapter 35 Love the symmetry between light and darkness here. It does not get old. The way you use to describe Mother Nature's feelings and her children's old powers and poetry at te same time. Its amazing to see how people have the right intentions but take them too far with using the wrong measures to achieve them. Mother Natures is acting like there is no other choice than what she is doing. What terror she would be if she controlled the power of both worlds? |
tiger002 4/13/13 . chapter 17What the heck is going on here... You've really mastered the art of giving us information and then throwing something really big at us at the end of the chapter. But was it really Zack who did that? How did they find the place? Are the other people okay? What's going on with Patrick, Noah, and Syd? Gah, so many questions. The violence was a bit more than I was expecting, but things like that don't really get to me. |
owlhero 4/8/13 . chapter 34Well the hacking would explain how the government learned everything. Especially if they had contact with Christian or Reed's computer... And it would bring another layer of conversation to bring up later on. For some reason,I found it humanizing for Diamond to feel fear with some teenagers in the room with him. The suprise about Reihu just comfirms how much work the government put into this. With the stones being there the whole time, its obvious the government forces had everything planned out and tried to have the elemental act like puppets in a sense and might have worked if it were not for Mother Nature. You're right. Sometimes its hard to keep interest in a story or a forum if the show is not active anymore. I have been through that myself on occassion. |
SoccerLaxGod25 3/28/13 . chapter 33Great description of the portal. So the two worlds were actually linked together at some point? Interesting. I like the idea of what Mother Nature is doing, she seems somewhat of a antagonist but a protagonist at the same time. Update when you can. |
tiger002 3/26/13 . chapter 16Now that chapter was a surprise! Though I guess most of your chapters have a surprise in them in some way. Still, I really liked that, the dream was one of your best ideas, showing so many things in a great, yet unexpected way. I wonder though, didn't Cody see his guardian, just not get him back? So many things going on here it's easy to lose track. Still, this is a great story so far and I'm sure it will just keep getting better. |
owlhero 3/26/13 . chapter 33It may be a short chapter but it offers a lot. This could be the case of a writer thinking of her writer being worse than it is. Oh well, we've all felt the same on occasion. So the drums can be for warning or a call for attack... Mother Nature's twisted sense of rightousness(?)/ fixing things is curious but at the same time, matches with what little we have seen of her. WE have seen leaders in history who go by the same route where they know things must be done for things to better their people. I can see her original intentions were good only to be corrupted. From trying to protect her own to centralizing the power in herself. Its a slippery slope. I guess she believes in doing things herself. So that's what the book was the whole time. Interesting... Especially if that book comes back to haunt her when Geneva decides to get involved. I have a theory: Could the connection between the world becoming unbalanced be causing problems on here as a society? |
owlhero 3/25/13 . chapter 32Spread this review over four days, so yeah, sorry... Hm,,,well I was wondering when Julius and maddie would show up... saving Zack from his own self-impulsiveness. I can see why Julius's specific powers could be the way they are. having his control be so wide spread would cause a weakness somewhere. It could an achille's heel for him eventually. Its warming how Zack's attraction is still there even at the worst times and with all the other options available to him. I love the line about all girls being beautiful to him. It shows just wide open he wants to be when it come to women. Aaron's orders from Zack makes me think how far ahead Zack has thought this though. Sydney's opinion of the soldiers usinf his weapons could seem a little arogant. Its like he's knows they are not good for the soldiers to use them. Or maybe I read the meaning wrong. Its amazing how Rhueben let Core's group go. It shows just how much understanding of their pain she has and what their relationship is with them even after all the fighting. Well Sydney's spirits' name brought back memories of sneaking to watch Inynasha late at night depriving myself of needed sleep. Zack's clothing description is subtle. It tells a magificent point of how far long they come and how alone in some aspects they still are. And the fact they are all probably skinny as rails. Okay I was shocked at how the chapter ended but of course Riley would come out and say it directly. She move around the edges trying to hide it in the desperate situation they are in. Good Lord Zack, so shy all of a sudden, lol. |
