| skarosianlifeform 8/25/12 . chapter 17 I really love your AU series. In particular, your characterization of Rose. A Rose who still made big mistakes, but is not in love and emotionnally dependent on the Doctor, and who was not jealous of Sarah Jane, but happy to meet her. And who will leave on her own (and so, make her own decisions like Sarah). I just hope that the AU Rose will take more initiatives, because after Bad Wolf (in the real series, in your Academic series, and in your AU series alike), she looks a little decorative (except in the Idiot's Lantern, the Satan Pit -when she took charge- and Fear Her), and it was my great regret. A Rose who was punished for her mistakes (in Dalek and Father's Day) would be more mature, and more useful than the canonical Rose. Or, if she doesn't take more initiatives, you can also explore her feelings (for example, that she's scared of acting on her own and sticks to the orders of the Doctor and the Professor, because of her previous mistakes). Anyway, I'm fan and I expect the next episodes. |
