This right here is perfection. He is so broken and you've described it in a way that makes me wish I could carry all the burden for these characters. Your writing is so profound and I'm just in total awe of it. I love this fic. So much.

How do you make it hurt so good, HOWWWWWWWWW? I mean, my heart is broken and I hate that Edward's life is in a really shitty place and that he's no longer with Bella but your words are so beautiful that I am totally captivated. And happy about it.

WOW. These type of stories are always so hard for me. But when a really good story teller tells them I appreciate them so much. You have a way of making me feel right there. I just want to hug him and tell him it will work out.

I think you already got me hooked with this story. These last two chapters were really amazing. Though,this one was kinda unsettling to me. Edward's voice is so daunting, so choked up, that we literally feel his discomfort throughout the chapter. Such tortured souls you write, and beautifully so. Thank you. Love,T

Just curious - Will there be any chapters in Bella's PoV, or is this only Edward's story to tell? These first three chapters have gone present, past, present; is that the pattern for the whole story, or will it just unfold the way it needs to? I'm guessing the ambiguity of the amount of time between the past and the present is puposeful; how come?

Interestingly, I can't think of any time, ever, that I've asked questions like this of an author. Not sure why it's different now.

This is incredibly sad. One of the saddest I've read in a while. Don't get me wrong, I'm intrigued but sad none the less.

I thought it was his ring. And now that he has thrown it, what does he cling to? Not his past anymore. His future perhaps? You should be publishing this story, it is too good for ff but I'm not complaining - not for a millisecond.

Based on the first chapter, I suppose their break up was inevitable. I can't help but wonder if it will make any difference that they are together in the same place again, albiet unintentionally. Did she hear his scream? It made me tear up at least.
