Rei's lines are so damn... CLASSIC! in this. I kind of hope that Rei and Asuka DON'T make up and become friends, reading about them at each others throats is much more fun and entertaining. I love Reis character in this, she's cute in a oblivious way.

... Not good as that where these Holmes are... or that "boy"... but i am read much less good than that was.

But intresting... Numbers, but viceversa think, no thanks!

Ugh, the chapter was so short! Why must you tease us? Why? I would gladly wait a week more if it meant extended chapters.

But enough of me whining. Another well written chapter that explores some of the darker inner workings of the Village. I definitely wouldn't mind getting a few more of these insights into the inner mechanisms of such an establishment. Gendo's also still a bastard I see Just felt like I had to say that at least once :)

Of all your fics, I think this one's my favourite.

Fascinating. I might check out the original some time. Mixing psychics with EVA seemed like a good idea. Also love the sheer surreality of it all.

My head hurts... Yup, I do believe that sums up my thoughts of this fic. Why don't I stop reading you may or may not ask? Because it is so ludicrous that I must continue to trek on to hope for the slightest bit of sanity along the way. All in all, I want more. Oh so much more from this fic.

I reviewed your other story prior to this - the Holmes one. I may have been misguided to call it my favorite, as reading the entirety of this has brought me to value them equally. Different, but enjoyable.

Shinji's struggles with the Chaos around him is a joy to read. I could see it all in my mind, the numbers in the glass when Rei drew them like a movie playing out. Whenever he has a moment like that, about to understand something, to -know-...it's wonderful to read. I can almost feel the euphoria from the knowledge unraveling.

Asuka is strangely -more- broken than usual, what with the MPD and all. I can't really say much more, not precisely being a fan of her fire and brimstone outer shell. Even without it, she's surprisingly psychotic.

Rei is much like Shinji, and the way the two of them work together reminds me of a partner of mine in college. Research was a joy, when the universe's mysteries unraveled before two minds working in tandem. I do look forwards to more of this - though please do more of the Holmes work, as its' length is a bit lacking comparatively.

I don't know where, exactly; I've even reread this chapter twice to identify the passage or paragraph, but I can't. However, there was a part that it started to remind me the point(s) of Aldous Huxley' "The Island" and "Brave New World", most likely because of the utopian experiment/society.
Or maybe it's just my mind casting memories to the front in a feeble way to understand this work...

Characters expressing themselves through logic and math, math! I'm also wondering when will Shinji "remember" the chaos theory...
The concept of surrealness doesn't fit this work; however, I'm finding it nearly surreal having a fanfic like this, lol, in the good sense. :-)
