I love Virtual Villagers, and I always accidentally kill them... Hey, does anyone know how to make soup in the first one? Oh, yeah, and the story was amazing! The emotion was palpable!

Yeah, it happened once when I was playing VV2... seeing skeletons everywhere, save for one kid alone, is enough for me to never, EVER, forget to pause the game and go sleep.

Never.

Great one-shot, and I'm proud to review the first VV fan-fic here! :)

Sad story, but it was really good. I totally know the feeling, I didn't think it would be so complicated when I downloaded it, but I got all 5 and within a week I killed everyone. Usually most were on the first two days. And I died inside every time. It's just, it's a limited supply and it's not easy to get food! They expect to much. But at least we learn (eventually).

It's true I have killed off my villagers at least 20 times and I feel really ashamed that I forgot about them. There is nothing you can do when all you have is one child so death is inevitable which is a real shame. Either way I adore the story, the first and only in this category.

This has got to be some of the most beautiful, touching writing I've ever read. I'm being serious. Very few written works have brought me near tears like this. Please, keep writing, you are a natural. :)

Fellow Virtual Villagers fan!

You know, for such a low-tech game, Virtual Villagers is surprisingly addicting. And for such a small game, it's surprising that they've made a fan out of such a beautiful writer. I've yet to succeed on the game, but I'm in the works towards beating the game. At least, at the current moment my villagers are not starving and I almost have an elder. All that's just to say that this happened to me almost three thousand times. I love the story. Thanks for your post!

That was simply beautiful. QQ The feelings, man...They're overwhelming... *runs off to find more boxes of Kleenex*
I've never even HEARD of Virtual Villagers before now, so I have no idea why I read this—but I'm not regretting it. I gathered some information on the game, so...Wait, I'm supposed to be reviewing here!
Anyway, this fanfic is really sad at the beginning...I mean, the whole thing is wonderful, but you can really feel the emotion in it, and...okay, words fail me here. Basically, I really liked it, and I thought it was...touching. And beautiful, like I said before. (Maybe I'm just too sensitive or something...Yeah, that's probably it.)
Personally, I like how the god of the villagers admits that he forgot his people, and how he is genuinely sorry and upset about what happened instead of not really caring at all. (I know, I'm weird like that.)
