wow. im impressed. shirou's characterization seems spot on and the story flows smoothly enough. the only bad part about this story that i can find is that it hasn't been updated for a while.

You should have used italic or bolds when Shirou did his aria you know, it would make it sound like he is really focused on it

Whoa, The confrontation with Arfoire was pretty intense. I'm glad that Shirou's finally cutting loose with his Tracing. While I can understand that he likely didn't want to call attention to himself and wanted the girls to become stronger on their own, it was getting a bit wearisome seeing him only using the bokuto.

I'm curious on why Arfoire refers to him as a curse. Is she instinctually aware of what his presence means (as I will address below) or does she only recognize him as an opposition sent by foreign powers? Or maybe a bit of both?

So, now everyone knows that Shirou is an alien to their world. Well, it was bit more dramatic than anticpated, particularly on IF's front. Of course, finding out that one of your friends is an alien from another multiverse, while the other is the loli form of a Goddess you passively despise, I guess it would be overwhelming. Makes you wonder if she'll be able to handle the weight of this new information (and how it may impact on a certain decision of hers later in the story).

Though, I'm more intrigued by how the recovery of a portion of her memories will affect Neptune's demeanor. She's likely going to look at the world with new eyes as she slowly begins see the ramifications her in-fighting with the other Goddesses has affected the world she was supposed to protect. I suppose Shirou's influence will help her eventually ease into the role of responsibility when the time as the story. Hopefully, she won't go temporarily nuts like she did in the later half of the game when she felt that she, Arfoire and the other Goddesses should die when the rest of her memory resurfaces. Of course, I wonder how Shirou would feel if it came to that, given his savior-martyr-guilt complex.

You also present one monumental twist in the plot. The revelation that Shirou's traced Noble Phantasms can not only be written within Histoire(and therefore affect the world), but that they are more or less permanent was one I did not foresee. This will lead to some very interesting possibilities during his venture within Gamindustri. Hell, if he decides to give some of his projections to Neptune, oooh, I feel sorry for any opponent they face. *Imagines Neptune using Caliburn or Caladborg during Neptune Break*

And UBW? That's just too delicious to think about. Histoire would have a field day with that. And Arfoire will be utterly screwed when she pushes Shirou to that point.

Now, I'm going to take this time to be a bit of TYPE Lunatic in regards to a comment. I preemptively apologize if I sound like a jerk.

To dedecou: That's pretty far reaching logic that approaches the level of BS, no offense. Kuro (Illya's clone) and EMIYA, despite having similar Tracing abilities, are worlds apart when it comes to their own individual statistics and martial skills. You can't use her win as proof that Archer could pull off the same feat against Arturia when his strengths and weaknesses are different from Kuro's(especially when bound to the Grail's system of measuring parameters). Her Traces also tend to be far more powerful than anything EMIYA's pulled off, whether in utilizing the inherent fighting knowledge within NBs or invoking them.

And even then, the Saber you're talking about is from a different continuity from the one in Fate. Hell, Gilgamesh in Prisma demonstrates far more power than the one in Fate. Not all counterparts are built the same.

Archer, in Fate canon, has never shown himself to be more skilled than Saber at close range. And if he ever went against Kuro in a straight sword fight, he'd die due to the difference in power, speed and technique. To say otherwise is just personal supposition.

This is actually caught my attention. I haven't played Hyperdimension Neptunia yet but I DO know F/SN series. This is shaping up to be a good fic with Shirou curbstomping (I suppose? XD) his enemies while making them dumbstruck at his abilities. Man I wonder if he suddenly create a new permanent landmass after using his Unlimited Blade Works...oh god that is gonna be Epic! I'm going to follow and favorite this story now!

I've been reading your fic for a while now, and basing from what I've read, it's great!
I was awestruck on the part where Shirou finally uses his Trace ability(though it was a bit late and the victory was pretty quick, but then since this takes place some time after the events of Shirou's own story AKA the Fate storyline, I guess he IS supposed to be quite powerful.).
I hope you'll keep the story going! It was really great reading it!
(Oh and one more thing, are going to make Shirou use some specific Noble Phantasms? Like Saber's Excalibur or Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon? I'm pretty excited for the next skill he is gonna use)

Shirou sure is a harem magnet, no matter what dimension he is in.
That reminds me though, are you going to put side stories like an event for the female cast with Shirou in it?(Well, he IS one of the main protagonists, and the ONLY boy in the party.)

The rewrite started to deviate from the original quite a lot by now, I really was not expected that his magic and back story will be let out off the bag so soon.
On one hand he now can openly go all out on his enemies and show off as much as he wants, on other I am not sure that it will actually make the story interesting, or at least more interesting that without this development. After all this is something that has great significance to the story and I believe I have a right to be a bit skeptical(or maybe this is the old man part of me that fears changes speaking?).
Anyway, I find the tracing leaving a record in the planet an interesting touch, and I applause you for that.

Anyway, it was a good chapter and I hope you will update soon, or at least faster then the last time.
