Artemis is a genius. If he needed an audio device, he could create it himself. By stealing from Spiro, it shows that he's accepting the fact that Spiro is better than him, that he can create something Artemis can't. Artemis would NEVER sink down to that level. His cockiness is what makes him fun to read about!

I liked the 'What kind of bodyguard are you?' - 'An unconscious one' lines haha :)

Wondering where Butler is in this break-into-Spiro-Industry incident and also why Blunt isn't in a prison and Spiro isn't in a mental institute but I'm sure that'll be explained later.
