I like this, you've gone into so much detail about something that was simply swept over in the film. I also like the way you said she misses being human, a view that I've never seen before, but works!

So sweet! Sometimes I have to wonder: Couldn't Shrek have left a note to where he was going? I guess that would have screwed up Fiona's relationship with her father, since he was still there. Oh well, it's still a good story, and my complaint was with the movie, not this.

Love this! I always love Fiona-centered stories, because I feel that her struggles could have been more deeply explored and she often doesn't get her due credit. You did her justice in capturing her character. If you continue to write more Shrek fics, I'll be sure to read!
