Sora was a good name. But this is so sad! T_T

it is so sad and yet so beautiful. I usually put a smiley face here, but I cant right after that sad story. I too have been thinking about diseases in the avatar world. it is interesting.
btw. nice picture for the story!

I braced myself for this story as I could not let myself go knowing how it would end.

That said, you've done a great job of portraying the pain Zuko and Mai, as parents would feel. The best parts of the story are Zuko's initial self-absorbed sorrow, Iroh's understanding, Mai's pain and breakdown, and most especially Katara's motherly nature coming through in her care for Mai.

Truely a sad story, but well written.
