I love it! This is amazing!

The story has a perfect hook. This is a very good preview chapter - a prologue before the action begins. It doesn't spend too much time on any one section, and the tone of it clearly displays the fear and naivety of young Seth Slade. It can seem somewhat rushed in places, but I think that really adds to the drama of it, and really conveys the fact that this is a memory of the event rather than the event actually happening. It's a bad period in Seth Slade's life, so he's probably going to be blocking a lot of the memories out, trying to get it out in as much detail but without dwelling on them for too long.

All in all, very good story. The only thing I'd say to improve on is starting a new line for each new speaker, but that is really a small blunder in an otherwise faultless story.
