Spike and Ezekiel exchange was brilliant and priceless. I now love them both in this weird way... I'm still rooting for Ezekiel.

Nice! Now I'm feeling that the pit stop this story has made has decided to move on. Not that the stop was bad; cause it was good. But now I'm happy to feel that things are moving again. Good joband can't wait to read more!

Aww! Yay! Jet and Ana! How I missed them so! I'm glad to see them return to the story. It was welcome calm and sweetness following all the drama. I'm glad that Edward returned, too! She's so adorable! It's a shame, though, that Spike is in such a bad mood, although it is understandable.

Poor Faye-Faye! She's literally trapped in the middle of a very elaborate love triangle (if triangles can be elaborate...) I hope she triumphs. She seems indignant at the fact that both Ezekiel and Spike don't think she can take care of herself, but in most instances, it tends to be true. Heehee!

Ah, ssg, seeing an update for this story never fails to make me smile. I love how angsty these latest chapters have been. I'm still torn between Spike and Ezikiel, but I think little by little Ezikiel is winning me over if not only by way of default since Spike is acting like quite the ass... but I know he has reason.

Wonderful chapter. Very intense, very real. Poor Faye...Poor Spike...Poor Ezekiel. I feel so sorry for all of them. You really bring all of their pain to their surface. It's palpable.

Oh I just want to beat Faye's head in right now. After all the torture it took for her and Spike to get to a good place, she's going to start all over with someone else and go through the same exact issues of trust and loyalty and blah blah. She's wasting her best years being in pain. But then I'm kind of biased in Spike's favor.

I do have to say that I hope you don't spend too much time with Faye deciding on Ezekiel then deciding on Spike then choosing Ezekiel again and back and forth like a yoyo. She's had a lot of time to make up her mind in this story, and already gone back and forth a lot, so when she decided she loved Spike I was hoping she'd actually have *decided*. If she goes back and forth and we repeat with Ezekiel vs. Spike what she did with Roscoe vs. Spike, it will drag the story down a lot. It already feels like you're stretching it in terms of drawing out Faye's emotional roller coaster for all its worth. But Faye is a practical woman who knows what she likes and knows how to get it, or make do with not getting it, and I can't help but think that sooner or later she would stop waffling. She's had enough time since getting her memory back to not be crazy anymore. Everything she's been through in this story would tax even a saint, but sooner or later (hopefully soon) the realist part of her personality has got to come back and urge her to decide what's best for Faye in this situation (never something she's had difficulty doing, when her head is clear) and how to get it to happen her way. She's got to stop reacting and start acting. Based on a few of the lines in this chapter I hope she's closer to doing that. Her indecisiveness is getting irritating, for us that read and I'm sure for the characters around her.

Anyway, I love that you're updating and I eagerly await the next part.

You have no idea how excited I was when I saw that you had posted not one but two chapters. I've been checking obsessively for nearly ten months, holding on to hope that you hadn't given up on this story.

And suddenly it's like no time has passed at all. You just keep getting better and better! I loved Chapter 91, that was SO powerfully written, and I love that song, Falling Slowly, from Once. Gorgeous and poignantly fitting song. Their first meeting after so many years was everything I hoped it would be and more, aroused all the emotion and pain...Just beautifully painful.

I love Bea and Spike's banter, especially the "Trans-generational charm".

I really, really, really hope Ezekiel isn't dead...He can't be. But...I guess I'm still hoping Spike and Faye end up together, even though I love Ezekiel.

I can't wait to find out why he and Spike look alike and why Ezekiel looks young...and why he has a weak heart...and if Anna is a traitor...Oh, you HAVE to update soon!

Oh. It's in this chapter! Okay, I guess I misread this conversation the first time. Okay... this explains the following chapters much better. Now I get it. I still think Faye's being delusion if she thinks they can have the same love they once did, but now I understand why she made out with him.

I guess I don't understand. Does Ezekiel still look young? You keep mentioning dark hair, but I thought from you earlier chapters that he was an old man? And I thought Spike's "miracle of modern science" was a reference to seeing his own face grow old, not that Ezekiel still looked young. But then i read some of the reviews and one of them confused me, it seemed to imply that Ezekiel hadn't aged.

I admit it- I'm compelled by the drama but part of my mind keeps asking how a 24 year old can make out with an 84 year old and still honestly feel passionate for him when its been 70 years sine parting. I don't understand how she can't see him and just know on sight that they're far too different now to ever have the kind of love they once had. But I guess I'm more shallow than Faye? Or Faye's still delusional. I mean, even if you completely ignore the fact that 85 year olds aren't generally attractive to 20-somethings, just the cost of time and life experience is too great a chasm. You might find new love, but in all likelihood you'd just resent the other person for not being who you remembered. So I don't really get why Faye is pursuing this at all. And I don't think Spike should feel threatened, either... then again maybe Spike feels threatened because he *knows* that Faye is just crazy enough to think she still wants Ezekiel, whereas he might not feel threatened if Faye was a normal person who reacted to situations like this in a typical way.

I mean, if he were 60, sure. There are sexy 60 year olds; but 84-85? People are wonderful and wise at that age, and more than some are still cognizant and smart, but none of them are attractive. Not to a 24 year old.

It makes for nice drama, though. Highly unrealistic, but fun to read.

I just want Spike and Faye to work through this. They need a break, when all is said and done and this whole conspiracy is ended.

I wonder if Spike is an Ezekiel clone? Probably not...
