This is a very interesting series, keep it up. On a side note I support Katherine having a romantic relationship with Emily, and I,m honestly not saying this as a pervert who simply wants to see two girls make out. I also want to know if you have plans on giving Katherine more powers to take on Cole. Anyway, keep on updating and I look forward to seeing Kat fight Cole again.

I feel Kat's pain! Loud and high frequencies can and will kill me, and I assume its the same with her. The chapter was alright, a tad lacking, but then again, this point in the game was also kind of lacking, so its excusable. However, I do not believe in gay lovers, so no, I vote to not have them as a couple, sorry if I disappoint you. So long as you keep writing, I will keep reading. Huh, really? I just thought, with the way she was acting, that she was hiding something... yet she really was serious about the comic books. Okay, well, now Kat will hate me, too bad I can kick her rear around the Earth and back. If you're wondering how, I can use Fire, Ice, Metallurgy, Shadow Manipulation, and Energy conduit powers... broken up between two different personalities... that constantly fight with one another, but regardless, between that and my ability to shift into a Shadow Dragon (Hint, Manaketes can do that), She currently wouldn't stand a chance. I just have to find a way to mute her Lion's Roar attack, and she's harmless! Anyway, great chapter, and I like how Emily DOESN'T give Kat strange looks and distrust over V.O.S.' message. As a sort of challenge though, what do yo think my primary weakness is, and have Kat think the same thing about Cole, at some point anyway. If she hates him, good girl or no, she will likely brood over how to stop him, and with brooding, comes weakness finding. ;)

This story is getting better. I like this alternative look at the events of the game that you are building up. Also, between the 'mysterious voice' whom I assume is either Sasha or Nix, and then Emily obviously having a secret of some kind, Kat should have a decently long and very enjoyable adventure ahead of her. On a random note, spellcheck claims that Sasha is misspelled, but Nix is not, do you know of this, or maybe have seen this, or is it just me? Regardless, keep it up, and I'll see you next chapter.

I like the way you place the story in Empire City by mentioning the districts, instead of immediately talking about Cole. It gives a sense of history and geography.

Like people have said in their reviews of your other stories, it's much easier for the reader to understand who is speaking when each person's dialogue begins a new paragraph. Proper formatting is important!
