Great one-shot. Good enough i'll forgive you for writing this and not another chapter of my favorite multi-chapter DA story.

i love how you've summarized so much of the dragon age lore/story in this final memoire. gives it a depth and makes it feel as if i've been through the game with these characters, even though i've never seen them before. (well, i mean cyrill basically.)
what a great, satisfying story!

Oh, Isabeau, this is just wonderful - your customary elegant writing, framing this lovely scenario (which I hereby incorporate into head-canon ). His thoughts bidding farewell to those he holds dear are as moving, beautiful, and quietly fulfilling as the Chopin piano nocturnes.

This was wonderful, Isabeau. I'm so incredibly honoured that you would write this for me! The sadness and acceptance in the first half of the story was lovely and poignant - I especially liked his final conversation with Zevran - and made his reunion with Morrigan (happy swoons for the romantic bits) and Adaia so much sweeter. My favourite parts though, were the last two sections; his late-night meeting with Nathaniel and then this:

"Dear Alistair-

Thought you should know. The sneaky witch-thief saved me. Again.

Well, that was just lovely! So many unexpected twists and turns. I adored the change in Cyrill's demeanor at the end, speaking to what careful control he had held himself in all those years. Zev's reaction was most poignant - I can easily see him turning away his emotions and allowing Cyrill to see in only far enough to know they existed.

Awesome little story! I think your Cyrill would get on well with my lunatics!

oh my god, this story is so good. I totally loved the reunion with Morrigan and their daughter. Zevran's last talk with the main character brought tears to my eyes. Again a formidable piece of writing, my friend. I can hardly wait to read all the other stories you've written.

This was surprisingly really good. This just made my day, but i have to ask: whats next? there isnt a complete status up so if you are adding more i must say im really looking forward to it.

This is terrific, Isabeau! Runs the gamut from pain to despondence to joy and everything in between. I loved Cyrill's dignity in the face of death, and his goodbye (well, his temporary goodbye) to Zev made me tear up (honestly). Adaia is a little cutey (dimples!), and Cyrill's note to Alistair is fabulous. :)

Very nice oneshot-unless you continue it. I see no reason Avernus couldn't create a potion to prevent the Calling.
