I like that twist. It seems feasible both that Duncan and Clarence would do that and that it would keep the "connection" at bay. I'm glad you aren't just ignoring Duncan's existence or downplaying his importance, too.

I just wanted to chime in about Madison being the real target of the GHB-she did say she was on Atkins, so she wasn't going to drink the soda anyway. I'm not sure Veronica heard that, though, so maybe it's a valid point, but I think that's why it didn't bother the fans as much, at least.

Getting good...I mean it's always been good, but now it's getting all stalker-ish, whose after Veronica, big sweeping mystery good. I'm intrigued! Please don't make us wait too too long. I'm still loving those voice overs by the way...

"Actually, his standards have improved a bit this summer. He likes them literate now. Makes my job harder" he mock complained.-Funny!

"Sure, if there's anything left of him by the time I'm through," Weevil responded. "You think you're the only one with anger issues around here? Keith didn't need Veronica's suggestion that I help him with this case. He just let her think that. He knows the range of my moral compass. In fact, I think he's counting on it."
- this line is SO Weevil! I love it. So perfectly in character.

For now, she would enjoy her boyfriend being sweet and ignore the way he looked suspiciously at every single person they passed on her way to class. Maybe she was imagining that, too. Just one more thing to add to the 'Mac, am I crazy?' list. It was getting quite long this week. And it was only Wednesday.
- Great internal Veronica monologue. Again, totally in character and shows her askew sense of humor.

I like this chapter I thought that it was funny both Logan and Veronica don't care that Piz and Parker are dating and they just want to be happy in their relationship. But it was nice for her and Mac to be there for moral support.
