AWW! Such a sad but good chapter! I also just finished up the 4th chapter and it might be cool that Elizabeth almost takes over as Crickets mom, helps he win pageants, and all that stuff and Amanda starts getting angry with Cricket and feels like shes being replaced...i don't know just an idea. Oh, and by the way I love how you based it off a Carrie Underwood song...I thought I was the only one who did stuff like that. ( I originally came up with my story Love, Life and Laura Vaughn after listening to The Night Before by Carrie Underwood :) )
