Haha oh Dwayne, I love reading him added into Nancy Drew stories. As crazy as he is, he is one good character. If being good were to mean being a psychotic stalker. Also, although you don't have too many of them, you do place AN's within the body of the chapter. These can be used to explain your reasoning, or just make little comments, but they also break up the chapters a little and distract from the story. And that would be a real shame, because you're a good writer. (: Keep up the good work!

I like the idea of Ned visiting Nancy while she's on a case. Just one thing, ToT is set in Oklahoma not Colorado.
