oh gosh you have no idea how much I love this story! Everything was just so perfect and I'm now probably the biggest Willy/Alice shipper ever. The story was so well written, so amazingly addicting and intruging that I read it all in a space of two days! If you could, I would LOVE it if maaayybe you could do a oneshot or somthing about their life from then on. Like, maybe seeing willy and alice have an argument or somthing, like still trying to get comfortable with the whole boyfriend/girlfriend sort of thing (or you could do a scene when they find out that Alice couldnt have kids or somthing like that - I understand if you can't, I just can't seem to get enough of these two). Also, I just thought I'd share with you that I'm currently listening to 'Alice' by Avril Lavigne, and even judging by the name, I could easily closely link the song to this story. I just... I can't seem to express my love for this story. THANK YOU for writting something truly amazing and awesome, and you deserve a medal or something _

Wow...just...wow...

I really liked this chapter. It's very well written, and I like Alice's character so far. I find her surprisingly likable, despite her description of herself. She seems friendly enough, maybe a bit held back, but could it be that she judges herself too harshly? But, a lot of that likability comes from the simple fact that she, like every single real person on this earth, is not perfect.
The plot is progressing nicely, I'm very interested to see where this goes.

Violet and Charlie! What a good idea! But was she still a gum-chewer? Did it drive Willy mad? Please forgive me, but I'm a little sad Willy's last words were not his own, as apropos as the Arthur William Edgar O'Shaughnessy poem may be, and I also can't help but wonder if Willy regretted not being awake to fully experience that once-in-a-lifetime event; as for Alice, I'm a big fan of 'The Ghost and Mrs. Muir', myself.

Thank you for writing this story. Alice has been a wonderful character - provocative, funny, delightful - and I'll miss her. I'm grateful for all the stories you've written for this genre, but particularly for the happy accident that caused you to delete some chapters of this one, because signing up has opened doors for me, and I wouldn't have signed up to ask about it, if you hadn't deleted those chapters. I hope you will write more - till that time, as Willy would say in that silky voice we know so well, "'Kay, then - 'bye for now."

Sweet. I don't see how you could have done this any other way and kept Alice in character. You're a discerning author with a backbone. Kudos.

i looved the ending it was amazing, although it got me a bit teary. seriously though, absolutely amazing story. I think you could be a very successful author one day

Oh my god, it's actually finished. Your story was absolutely genius. Easily my favorite. I loved every moment of it, even the sad moments. You had the perfect mix of everything, comedy, romance, angst, and I loved the witty dialogue between characters. I like how you tied in elements from both of the movies, old and new and the books by Rohl Dahl.
The thing I loved about this story the most is how it wasn't completely pointless. There was a moral to it. I think it really appealed to me because I could relate to Alice in a lot of ways. At times, you could see how insecure she was about herself around Willy but in the end she realizes that if she makes him happy, then she's worth it. And the realization that you have to take control of your own life in order for things to go the way you want. Very inspiring.
This chapter was amazing. I especially loved the parts leading up to the end, how you switched to past tense to present tense and how she was describing the things she felt, heard and saw. When you mentioned how 'sometimes that feeling plunges into me like an icicle, reaching down into my very being', I wondered if you were referencing the Abyss and then when she sees the door I was like wow. Loved it. Again, you're a genius. I can't wait for your next story.

the wedding part was really nice, but almost sad in a way because it's almost the end. :')
