boy, am I reliable or what? Wah! Poor Alrovir, poor Alex. A bittersweet ending to this chapter. You know, if you're a nice person (and I am sure you are) you could post the next installment on Sept. 5 (my date of arrival on thiis planet--and it has never been the same since--or so I have been told). Again, cool chapter, one of my favorites.

I thought of changing my sign in name, but nah...boy, when you ended with that 'went on with my life' I could have figuratively strangled you. was relieved to see that was not the ending. Am curious to see what you have up your sleeve.

am curious about her comment about 'day of departure' drawing near--- her leaving seemed a bit uncertain at the end of chapter 6 anyway--with Elrond's 'we'll see' being the only comment. Am curious to see if my personal 'bird hypothesis' will be confirmed. will Haldir be entereing the picture [you mentioned him in an earlier chapter]?

trusty (but sometimes thick) reviewer strikes yet again. I caught on to the rivendell enclave thing after I posted and re-read the story. (serves me right for reading in the early AM hours. I have a hunch about the birds. But I will try to wait and see if my hunch is correct.
