That was short but slightly amusing so no worries, even though that duel seemed fast, though personally I hate writing duels since I can't ever remenber the cards (unlike someone I know who says that he can remember almost every card played in the orginal series) so I just don't ever do it, except put down a move or two in between dialogue... anyway, I'm done ranting, it's a nice little chapter and I know how tough school can be, in the beginning of biology we had to remember all these terms and it was a mess.

A good test for whether you can right in first person view is counting the number of "I"s per paragraph. The higher the number the more obnoxious it is.

The more you channel your own voice through the characters the more you ruin it. You are basically stripping away the "Yugioh" characters' personalities so you can insult "Harry Potter," a book series that basically insults itself without you explicitly stating it.
