Excellent-the dialogue and behavior are all true to the characters-as others said, I could easily see this playing out between the characters on the show.

The final exchange is all too appropriate-an amusing parallel (was it intentional, as far as Diane was concerned?) and Sam notices the irony all too well...

Hee! Love the parallels. Once a pitcher, always a pitcher! A very sweet story, and I adore "seeing" Sam and Diane out of the bar setting.
