Have I told you just how how much I love you?! If my spams haven't given you an indication, I really really love your stories. They're so fun and quirky and witty and omg you make it feel so good to be back on board the RK ship! I love how misao finally stood up for herself because I have read so many stories where she just tails him around and that is plain frustrating because she's such a fiery and self-willed woman and she deserves to be treated as an equal. That being said, I really like and appreciate your characterisation of Misao and Aoshi. And loveeeee the bonus KK bit!

I really like you portrayal of the characters. Usually Misao and Aoshi are both left kinda shallow, because people have difficulty keeping them IC, and can't handle showing of their depth with sublety. The nail coloring motif was a brilliant idea for this.

I also adore your characterization of Kenshin, because you show his adorable sides while keeping him mysterious. And that is like a treat in a fandom littered with "possessive, passionate, maniac sosiopath battousai" portrayals or "I am too old, unworthy etc etc of Kaoru in a society where 11 years age difference was nothing" or "Clueless idiot with sosiopath second personality". Honestly, you manage to bring out the sides of Kenshin that we actually fell in love with the character to begin with in a refreshing way, not these 13 year old fangirl writer's inadequeties and sexual fantasies of what a love is vieved at that age through education of the Twilight saga... and you manage to bring out a Kaoru with a character and backbone, which is a real honest to God pleasure to see.

Anyways, in your Ruroken fanfictions that I read, I spotted a few recurrings writing mistakes, very minimal all in all; he is suddenly a she, some linear contiunity errors (at first Kenshin is 28, then he is 30) to mention a couple. So keep out a watch for those, otherwise your writing is very clear and the story flow is nice indeed. The setting and characterizations are well though out, so, like I said earlier, it's a real pleasure to read your stuff.

oh i love this. finally an aoshi/misao fic where misao was able to work on herself without aoshi, and had the man chasing after her. hee.

yep, self-respect is key. and as much as i love misao's enthusiasm for aoshi, this more mature take on her is very refreshing :)

Pretty good for high school AU! Those can be tricky to write well. One thing though, I think white is actually the blend of all colors. But whatever, white as nail polish is still fierce.

would have be nice if he gave her a chance but i dont know how bad is her writing that aoshi refuses her so adamantly! at least in the end he gives her a chance in his heart!

As much of Aoshi/Misao fan as I am, I'll admit I get frustrated by how sometimes Misao seems to have no self-respect whatsoever. There's being in love with someone and then there's being obsessed with someone to the point that you'll disregard everything but them, fanfic Misaos occasionally toe the line that separates these two..,What I mean by all of that is I loved that Aoshi had to swallow his pride a little and that Misao acknowledged the fact that he's just guy not a demi-god (regardless of how good looking he is!) Lastly, loved the subtle humor and the interaction between Kaoru and Misao!

I love the way you write. Your humor, your dialogue. You're excellent at dialogue. Character development? I wish it were slightly longer just so I could have seen more. I was sad to see I'd reached the end of the page. I'm diggin' the world you built. Excellent!

The Misao/Aoshi was good in this one, but have to say, Kaoru/Kenshin was cute as well!
