I really like that you are taking the relationship between Ben and Alex slowly. So often Ben/OC fanfics just jump straight into the relationship and the kissing and don't allow much time for character development. In my opinion, in the Falling Skies-verse there are a lot of other priorities above adolescent kissy-kissy time.
