I just wanted to say that I loved this story! It does have a few typos, so you might want to proofread it, but the content is just so *interesting*. Salem seems to be one of the more popular characters in the 'Sabrina' storyline, but so little is known about his pre-cat years. I really like your interpretation, both here and in your other story "Paradigm Shift", about the beginnings of Salem's world conquest attempts. It's a very plausible back story for Salem, and does a lot to explain the protective streak (particularly for Sabrina and Harvey, arguably the very vision of the future your Salem was trying to build) that he exhibits in the series. I really hope that you continue to write about the character!
