Awesome! This is a cool fanfiction, can't wait to read more. But already, I have some questions and I hope you can answer them? When Xerxes turned into a wolf, did he still keep the contract with his chain? What of his eye? Is he a one-eyed wolf? If so, why didn't the other wolves show some kind of surprise? Did his fur hide the empty socket? And what about the seal of the illegal contractor? Does it still show on his chest? I haven't read too far, but these questions were bothering me. If they are answered later in the story, you don't have to answer.

Regarding the wolves, I like Binde and Gianaval.

Although, I think I am more drawn towards Binde. He doesn't have an excessive inclination to tolerate nonsense or excuses. xD I like.

I rather liked the conversation between Katana and Binde about their son. Wow. I feel really bad for Katana. She is like a real Mom! xD Honestly, the whole Binde-Katana-Lotus family feels incredibly realistic. I can see how Katana wants to protect her son only to end up coddling him too much - this would definitely get in the way of Binde teaching Lotus self discipline. One parent reinforces one thing. The other parent runs the risk of undoing all the work. It would be additional explanation (besides young age) to their son's lack of composure. Katana helped illustrate how hard it is for the wolves right now.. not to mention the level of sacrifice they must endure. Her insistence on Binde answering between their duty and their family? His response? I loved it. You can just feel how torn everyone is.

Granted, characters like Lotus tend to get on my nerves (I get rather upset whenever they start talking back to their parents, running away, having fits...kinda like the typical "I hate you, Mom/Dad" character that screams, and makes me want to pull my hair out during movies) ACK. However, Lotus does have reason to feel the way he does. He just lost another member of his already dwindling pack, and he has alot on his young shoulders.

I just really liked seeing how the different characters responded to the death? That and I liked how the ages were diverse.
Gianaval: Elder- sorrowful resignation under the weight of experience. He feels so sagely and wise. A teacher type?
Binde : Guessing younger than Gianaval. He seems to be supressing alot of his feelings to maintain control, and adhere to pack duty. I really like him, even if he is a bit harsh, he tells it like it is.
Katana : She says what the others won't say. The hard stuff that is buried deep down.
Lotus: Young. Emotion Overload. Want to lash out.

Honestly? As much as his character type irks me, Lotus serves a great purpose. I can feel it. I like how Break is learning to change from animals he thought couldn't reason, and now he is starting to find them exemplary even to people in some respects - people who could reason, but decide not to.

At this point,
I like to think of Lotus as being symbolic of Break and Sharon. Lotus is the youngest, inexperienced member of the pack, and, unlike the rest, he is jumping to action heedless of consequences. All three of these characters are have alot to learn of they want to emulate these wolves. xD

There is the saying: Violence only begets more violence.

Break kills Koba. He turns Lotus against him. Sharon is absolutely vengeful.
She makes the same hasty decisions as Break.
I have a very, very foreboding feeling about Sharon's order!
Hopefully these three will be able to Break this cycle before it gets to perpetuate itself beyond Koba's death!

Honestly, I wasnt expecting Sharon's reaction to be...that. She surprised me!
But she does tend to get violent and lash out when upset. Plus, She lost Break!
I loved how Sharon is torn because their last conversation was a fight. xD CUE GUILT-FEST. BWAHAHHA.

I love the drama. Love it. The right amount of pacing and suspense...

Curiosities (These don't necessarily need answering, but I like to show where my mind wanders) :

Are new wolf pack members created from the killers of these wolves? Are they taken in to make up for the loss, and turn over a new leaf?

Or is this some kinda divine intervention, and Break is special?

I wonder what Break will learn from Giavanal and company.

What will happen to Break's coat? You know I love that coat... xD
