I came to dislike Lily more then Severus in this sequel. She comes to find out the truth about how Severus treated Harry and really did nothing much about. She actually lied to James throughout their marriage and even had an affair while married. She came across as shallow, dishonest and very selfish to me.

I left this story feeling very sorry for the poor dead James, much pride in Harry for going above is abuse and wonder that he was able to forgive his mother and Severus.

Though I did not like some of the characters I found the story well written and a great read.

I'm so happy that Harry was able to go to Durmstrang instead of Hogwarts! It is so sad what Harry had to go through living with his mother and Severus, but I think the saddest thing is that Severus never even thought to regret his actions until he found out that Harry was really his son. That, to me, makes everything that he did later worthless, because obviously he never would have accepted Harry if he was James son. Not only that, but it didn't seem as if he even liked Harry, only wanting to be included in his grandchildren's life? Personally, if I was Harry, I would keep my children as far away from Severus as possible. Who knows when the hate he had been subjected to would be placed on his innocent children.

Thank you for the story! I'm so glad that you wrote a sequel, and that despite everything Harry had to live through he still became a good person! Great story!

i really hope you write a sequal where Harry found out about his parentage...i mean harry is a potion master right...and Draco is a potion master too, don't they have a project involve the ancestry tapestry? hope i spelling it right, hahaha...and I love all the protectiveness of other people toward Harry, such as Luciuc, Sirius, even Ivan, not to mendtion Dumbledore, did Dumbldore found out about Harry reason going to Dumstrung? Never I thought Mineva will do something so despicable...hmmm, hope she will grovel to get into Harry good grace cause they will work togther in the future.

Other that them, did other people found out about Harry prentage? I mean people will start noticing the similarity between them...Even snape found his smirk is similar to his own right?

nice story, but I didn't like the rushed conclusion. So much time spent to create a perfect stage and then what? a pity party for a man who suddenly realized that the boy he abused intentionally, repeatedly and viciously was "innocent"? roll eyes
I like very much your portrait of the secondary characters, they seem even more realist than in canon!

slightly disappointed with the ending to this. the writings good, dont get me wrong. i would have liked to see a happier ending though

this is a nice yet hearbreaking ending, i really wanted severus to reconcile with a much younger harry though

Actually Lily was worse than Snape in many ways; from what I can see she was nothing but a slut who cared only about herself and her comfort and as long as something didn't affect her she wouldn't/didn't notice it. I call her a slut because of her cheating; even if you don't 'love' someone, if you marry them then you stay loyal to them. She just tarted herself out and spread her legs to who ever gave her what she wanted and the price for her comfort was her firstborn son; just because she didn't actively abuse him doesn't mean that it wasn't abuse.

Also answer this: who is worse the one doing the abuse (mental abuse is still abuse) or the one who knows of it but does nothing; Lily and Minerva are both equal to or worse than Snape in their actions.

I think if Harry had had any self-respect he would have left them behind and never looked back. Few people have that strength but they are always happier for doing so. No one in the Snape family, and I am including the other children, did anything to correct the wrong that was being done in front of their eyes (or at their hands) so it shows that they never cared for Harry and as such they do not deserve the right to be included in his life, now or in the future. I can't believe how pathetic Harry was to basically forgive everything that happened to him, that is the same as excusing/condoning the behavior.
