Please update

Well, to say I nearly fell off my chair when I saw an update on this would be an understatement! YAY - you're back (and I hope it's back for good)... :))))

You know how much I love this story and i LOVE this chapter... I love how protective of each other they are and I'm so pleased that the chapter ended with Will actually comforting Mac... I understand how much she has needed to be there for him but she needs some comfort of her own or she surely wouldn't be able to get through this...

Amazing chapter once again matey - really can't wait to see what's in store for the next chapter...

This chapter just shows how much they love each other. Glad they are taking care of each other an getting thru this. I know something that would relieve some if that tension :)

OMG I'm so happy to see an update to this story. It is one of my absolute favorite! I just love the way you write Will & Mac inner feelings and emotions and you capture the characters so well. Looking forward to the last chapter. Thank you for posting!

YAY! You're back! *sounds trumpets* And at Easter too! How poetic! Risen again and all that :)

And don't complain too much about being away for so long, you've just given me a lovely excuse to stop clearing out my room and re-read this story all over again ;) There's an upside to everything. And you may have been away for ages, but if you're reading it as I just did - from start to finish - you wouldn't know there had been a real gap if you hadn't looked at the date. I think this chapter flows very fluidly from the last one both in the story of the chapter, but also in similarities between the style and writing of this chapter and the last.

I love the analogy Mac uses about how he felt at school and his father, I thought that was a great wee nod to the depth of the relationship they share - you're great with details like that. And I love that Mac's vulnerable side really comes out in this one, and that we see Will come through the other side of his trauma, or at least begin too when he comforts Mac. Can't wait to see what you've got in store for the finale after the last conversation there!

Admittedly, I had sort of forgotten where we left off in this story. But then I read the first few lines and I was thinking 'oh right, of course...how could I possibly forget?!' Amazing update!

Love Mac trying to keep herself together for Will and the way you describe her struggle to keep from falling apart for him was wonderful.

Oh, that last bit was heartbreaking. "You used to have this way of looking at me. It was everything. If I've destroyed that...if I've even changed that..." Oh God, I hope Will handles this well...it will destroy Mac if he doesn't. No pressure though...but we'll all be desperate waiting for the last chapter.

Ohhh my God, a shooting, poor WIll, it set my teeth on edge! Really well done, I like it that Will actually physically needs Mac, it's so sweet. Now I hope that they'll finally get to settle IT. I mean, making love to each other, they soooo earned it :)

oh wow - what a lovely surprise to see you'd posted a chapter of this - wasn't expecting that at all...

ANd I so wasn't expecting that in the storyline but wow... so many emotions in this...

Where to start?! I loved the moment in the Hospital where Mac finally realises that she doesn't have to be a hero and that it was Will words previously that reminded her... Loved how it was thinking of Will and looking forward to seeing him after that got her through the whole ordeal... *sigh*

Then when she gets to the office - well my heart breaks for Will here bless him...
But, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE how Mac gets him back to a semi-normal state in the office with all her touches and hugs and that she is the ONLY thing that can get him through the show but this time just with words - no touches needed - her voice does it all... Absolutely LOVE IT...

Would like to see a scene similar to this on the show although I doubt we ever will!

AMAZING chapter matey - so very worth the wait but the thing is - when you post a chapter it makes me all impatient for the next one! So get writing - I greedily want more...!

Wow - what a powerful chapter - great job! I love how Mac is the one person who can save him.

OMG OMG OMG OMG! This is so good! You never never let us down! In each chapter there is something really amazing!

Well, to begin with, I love that "pony tail" gesture. It feels so sweet. I kind of hope it happen on the show...that image is so adorable.

And the gunman story is awesome! It's understandable that Mackenzie is tougher in this case and Will simply collapsed because of what happened...As you put it, " the standoff lasted for over 5 hours", so it must have been an emotional torture for Will, thinking that he may lose Mackenzie forever and all he could do was to wait. So I'm not surprised that the incident had such a lasting impact on him and it took hours for him to recover (actually I don't think he is recovered yet. Poor Will. Luckily he has got his Mackenzie by his side comforting him).

I guess if the same thing happens to Will, Mackenzie will probably do the same. It may sound like a cliche but what's it..? THE POWER OF LOVE.

It's a long excellent chapter and it must have taken a lot efforts for you to write it. So thank you thank you thank you for bringing us this fantastic stuff! I really love it!

Where to begin?! Love it soooo much! Love the moment when Mac realizes just how reckless she's been and what it's doing to Will. And how she comforts Will and gets him through the broadcast...amazing. Please tell me we get to see what happens when they get home?

Okay, in all my imaginings, I never even touched this, so thank God you didn't show it to me! :p You got a lot in here though, so taking your time with it has totally paid off. I feel soooo heartbroken for Will right now. I just want to hug him...actually no. If I was with him right now I would do exactly what you have done and stick him and Mackenzie in a room together until she fixes him. Have I mentioned that I adore the way you right their relationship? And speaking of which, I love that Mackenzie is the strong one here. She's really come along from being paranoid, and uncertain and vulnerable, and I love how beautifully she holds Will together here, as he did for her last chapter.

Love Jim and Charlie, love the staff not gossipping (to their faces anyway), love that you've left us to fill in some of the blanks. Cannot wait to see where you take this next :) Thanks for posting!
