I am truly sorry I have never reviewed this story before. I had read it sometime ago before I had an account but just lately I have been catching up on all the stories on flashpoint and the other evening at work I read and re-read almost all of yours. You are without doubt one of the most talented writers on this site - on any site; in fact ANYWHERE I adore Froggie and the way Sam is with her. Your Sam/Jules banter is brilliant but Sam/Ftoggie banter is simply superb basically because its a one sided conversation. Reviews may rock your world but your stories rock mine. You write like a beautiful crafted diamond with layers upon layers of creativity. Its sheer bloody genius is what it is and I for one am just a tad jealous. By the way the potato salad incident - "We bring that potato salad as a family now Jules - you've made me complicit in your big fat lie. And JJ - just think of the example you're setting for our daughter" it was laugh out loud funny, brilliant, superb. Please keep these stories coming - I have totally fallen in love with this family. Write more please - I am not adverse to begging.

I just re-read this story, and I think it was funnier and more interesting the second time around. Lots of fun fluff and a nice break from the realities of the 5th season.

Sam gets cookies! haha. I like how Jules has a whole big story over why she's been lying - sounds an awful lot like something that would happen to me! I like how Sam seems so excited over catching her in a lie like that. so funny. 'We bring that potato salad as a family now' - how dare he drag poor little JJ into that mess! Next thing you know he's going to be pretending like he helped make it or something...
I like her question of if its forever, and I laughed when he immediately went to quoting their vows like she was questioning their marriage and not just his ability to keep his mouth shut. Very cute :)

Still enjoying the silly sappy Jam! Although Daddy Sam was not in this chapter very much, I really enjoyed the by-play with Sam and Jules.

Love it! I love how Sam negotiated Jules & how she throws his "rookie words" back at him!

LOL, how much do I love this? Let me count the ways...
1) the way Sam uses that unfair height advantage to sneek a peek at what she's doing. That's so not fair.
2) the way the "lie" got started. Because, well, he's Ed.
3) the negotiation itself and the way he sucked her into it before she realized what he was doing.
4) the reference to his first negotiation attempt in Who's George. Cracks me up every time.
5) The whole "this is forever" line and the reciprocating "I seem to recall we said some vows to that effect" comeback.
6) She called him a ding dong. How funny!
7) Worried that Toth was going to try to get the story out of him and that all bets would be off if he had to word associate side dishes. Too funny.
8) Them admitting to what they would have agreed to, especially him being proud of the cookies.

And anything else I forgot to list. This was truly great and what I needed at the end of the day. (didn't get to read it this morning like I had hoped). Awesome job as usual. You rock!

I love to read about the flirty side of JAM...it sounds like Sam has honed up his negotiation skills greatly...he's negotiating the negotiator now. Missed hearing about froggy in this story hopefully she wakes up from her nap soon so we can read about more froggy cuteness.
