Oooooh, Marco is surely up to something sneaky. :3 And man, this was a heart-rending chapter. Lots of lovely angst to fuel the plot. I hope that Granny realizes that she's unhappy, though. And throwing Leroy as well as Whale in the mix was a fun change of pace.

If Marco is truly as suave as he sounds, Ruby may not be the only one going dancing!

I've just started reading this one, but I have to say it is probably the most squee-inducing RedxCricket I've seen. The introduction and weaving of the music is great.

I never thought about this pairing, but i gotta say REDxCricket rocks. and they need more Cricket in the Show..
now in regards to this story. i love it. you handly the charcters well, none of them seam ooc. and i love how Subtle you bring in the roamnce. it's well played and very sweet. i was going " AWWWWW" the whole time i was reading.

I have to say, this is a great piece and I hope you continue soon. The characters are well done and the progression is realistic. Bravo to you, my friend. I hope to see another chapter soon. There is not enough good redcricket out there.

Also, I love how you write Granny. I almost want to stick my tongue out at her for being stern, yet I know that in her heart of hearts she's doing it for a reason-to protect Ruby. Still, nice work with the characterization!

And the moment between Ruby and Archie was absolutely adorable. :D This part was wonderful, too: "Do you really like me? Am I too young for you? Can we watch movies next to the fire and eat pie and dance slowly and will you hold my hand like that time you walked me home and..."

Their hardest problem, I think, is going to be insecurity. But as long as they're together they'll be happy. :)

Soooooooo looking forward to the talent show, by the way! YAY plot device! :D

What other classics is Ruby missing out on? Plenty of date possibilities there...

This is such a sweet story. Never thought much of a Ruby/Archie pairing, but your story convinced me that they would make a cute couple.
