Personally, I think this is a very powerful piece, with clarity of thought and I good story line. This is well written and highly enjoyable to read. It is very engaging and though provoking with just the right amount of tension. You are still doing very well, sickness or not, and that is an admirable thing. Good job, I mean that.

I loved this little drabble. It was great and very true. I don't think any of us will truly understand the meaning of longevity, but I know Don will do anything to try and find it. That's just the way he is. As for light or dark, it doesn't matter to me. Go with your gut. Nicely done on this.
