What an intense finale! The scene on the ship is so vivid, the terror so real. And I love the reappearance of the old man. :)

I figured out Kolchak would use blood before it actually happened! I'm guessing the wound had to be real in order for the blood on the painting to be real and seal the portal, but owwww! Poor Kolchak!

I love how you go back to the original dream from the beginning and have Kolchak put what he's learned to good use. I would have liked to have seen one more mention of Tony, but regardless, this was a very good ending.

Excellent, exciting story! Kolchak's voice is perfect all the way through, as are the other characters' when they appear. I look forward to reading more.

Ha, I love the grouchy people Kolchak keeps running into in your stories! ;) This is a very intriguing chapter, as pieces start to come together. So Kolchak's had the painting on his camera and that's been causing the problems for him. And there's the possibility of controlling one's dreams. That always makes a fun topic for stories.

LOL. Poor Tony. I can just imagine his expression when he comes in and sees and smells the mess. I love the image of Kolchak plopping on Tony's couch, too.

Aww, I love Kolchak's protectiveness of Miss Emily. And LOL, his musing about lawyers shingling a roof.

I get definite reminder vibes for the doppelganger episode with Kolchak forcing himself to stay awake like that. I love how Tony's worried about him! The banter is wonderful, as always. I think my favorite part is about sleeping in the suit. And when Tony says "And that is good news, how?" I can just picture his bewildered look. LOL.
